I have had quite a varied background. I have served as a Commando in the British Army. I have been a social worker for children and adults with multiple and profound learning and physical disabilities; and worked alongside health professional colleagues in a busy A&E department of a city hospital. I have practised as a corporate lawyer in two large commercial legal practices (one in England and the other in Scotland).
Corporate & Business Law is my passion, but I have also had experience in commercial litigation, clinical negligence and personal injury. I have been tutoring company law to students at Strathclyde University since 2008, and I have been tutoring business and law to accountancy students at Kaplan Financial Limited since 2009. In the past I have also taught Scots Law and English & Welsh Law to students at the Open University, and last year I travelled to Kazakhstan to teach business law to part-qualified accountants at Deloitte.
If you would like to hear more about my experience, please contact me. In the mean time, here is a list of the tutorials I am currently teaching.
